Have you tried cooking a sausage on an open fire or paddling a raft made with barrels? 1st Hersham Cub Scouts have!  Cubs at 1st Hersham (both boys and girls) are able to try lots of different activities - climbing, caving, hiking, cooking (both indoors and out) and dry slope skiing are just a few of the activities that we offer.

Cub Scouts also go on trips and days out, including hiking in the dark, evening visits to our local airfield, fire station, a trip to RAF Hendon and every year we also take part in camping trips, sleeping under canvas and trying lots of outdoor activities like crate stacking.

Everything we do encourages confidence, self-awareness and leadership skills, and achievement is celebrated with the Cub Scout badge system progressively leading towards the Chief Scouts Silver Award - the highest award in the Cub section.

Cubs at 1st Hersham have an everyday adventure!
